This elaborate Mission revival style building overlooks Capitol Lake. It was erected in 1924 by builder Ernest Meeker (see also La Villa-Meeker Mansion). Its current owner believes it may be a Joseph Wohleb design, consistent with Wohleb’s signature Mission style. Its crenellated roof gives a castle-like appearance when seen from Deschutes Parkway. The building is on the local register.
Many thanks to current owner Angela Bowen for additional information about this house.
