Looking Back’s theme for 2024 is Many Streams, celebrating our rich and diverse history. Delbert “Del” McBride, shown here, was a long-time curator of the State Capital Museum as well as an artist. He and his brother Bud McBride, and Bud’s long-term partner Richard Schneider, owned the Klee Wyk studio in the Nisqually Valley. Del’s artwork was recently featured in a book and exhibit, The Lavender Palette: Gay Culture and the Art of Washington State.
