Earl Brenner was the son of JJ Brenner, founder of the JJ Brenner Oyster Company. Several homes associated this family are located on the Westside, including this house, the JJ Brenner House next door, and the original Brenner House on Fourth Avenue. This house has a magnificent view over Budd Inlet, including the site of the JJ Brenner plant, now the location of Bayview Thriftway. The home was built in 1925, designed by Olympia’s famed architect, Joseph Wohleb, in his signature Mission style.
