Throughout 2021 the Sunday Olympian’s Looking Back feature portrayed events and people from the Sylvester’s Window cityscape project. The 1950 cityscape depicts Margaret McKenny in conversation with a young man who would be featured on his own account in a different Looking Back feature. Miss McKenny grew up in Olympia and in her adulthood became a world-renowned mushroom expert, naturalist, and environmental advocate.
